PTR: The first Milwaukee M18 Fuel finish nailers enjoyed some initial success but left some room for improvement. There’s a big update to the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 16-gauge cordless finish nailer that deals with some of the biggest complaints professionals have with the earlier models.

I swear I'm not completely loyal to a brand even though I keep commenting on every Milwaukee news article, but I promise it's just because I'm a nerd for tools! Anyways, can we talk about how dope it is that it can stand on it's battery and that quality is probably the best attribute of this Milwaukee Finish Nailer. The only downside they listed was how heavy it is and I kind of agree because working with something super heavy and carrying it around for the entire call is kind of shit. But how do you even justify a purchase like this unless you're doing finish carpentry every day? Like, I really want this nailer, I just don't have any immediate use for it and that sucks because I know when I'll need one I'll want this one but I won't have it. I just want a good enough reason to buy this nailer!!!

Firstly, I’ve never seen a cordless nail gun and I absolutely love it! It does seem quite large which is a downside, however I can’t tell if that’s how large all cordless nail guns are or just this one. The large nose does sound like a big plus, as well as the LED light, which I have greatly appreciated on all milwaukee tools. The accuracy boost is always a plus as well. I can’t decide how I feel about the size. They say it is good for getting smaller spaces however I wonder if that is really the case or if this one is merely just better than the last one. I think what would be a more interesting article would be a comparison between corded nail guns and cordless nail guns because I am curious as to what the benefits and drawbacks between the two types of guns are.
