American Shakespeare Center gets new AD and sets new season
DC Metro Theater Arts: American Shakespeare Center (ASC) in Staunton, Virginia, now in its fourth decade, is not only emerging from the trials of the COVID-19 pandemic but also rebounding from internal conflict that prompted the company in October 2021 to cancel its upcoming season. Now with a new, inclusive distributed leadership model that emphasizes collaboration, equity, and diversity, ASC has announced a new 2022 slate of shows exploring themes of love, reunion, and reconciliation.
