I kind of didn't understand a lot of what they were talking about in this article, but its still super cool! The fact that someone was live mixing (or whatever the term is for media design) such a giant screen at such a giant event is really impressive, they must have been really comfortable with the software. It makes me wonder if anyone in the lines or doing the interviews would have guessed that it was being designed live because a lot of times nowadays we take media for granted at events and performances. When there was a CMU Drama rave held in our video studio, there were two media designers working to program an LED wall and a few smaller screens, and not that they are not capable designers, but it shows the amount of work that goes into live video mixing. This giant screen is pretty cool and effective aesthetically for the premier, but I kind of wish they would talk a bit more about the actual programming, which is definitely the more impressive part of this media design.
