This show sounds like it would be confusing to watch; the author says it themselves. The fact that the playwright wrote three different scenes on one page should speak to that. However, I would still love to see it because of the content and the way it is presented. The author of this article wrote the sentence, “It is a drama like the blue heart of a flame; it looks like winter even as it scorches you,” which is one of the most beautiful descriptions of a play I have ever read. I am so fascinated by what they mean by that. How can you have a play that deals with content as heavy as suicide, yet it does not appear to be as bold as it sounds? While it may be difficult to follow at times, it is always great to go to shows that have narratives that make you think.
