Building a Lego inspired studio for Fox competition show

NewscastStudio: The look on the faces of “Lego Masters” contestants entering the sprawling set created for the new Fox show pretty much says it all: It’s any Lego fan’s paradise.

Production designer Stuart Frossell knows that feeling all too well. Like many kids, he loved playing with Lego growing up.

While I always knew you could make reality TV about almost any person, family or about anything, or a game show/competition show with almost any premise, but I do not think I would ever have guessed Lego construction would be the next big thing. From cake baking and decorating to pumkin carving to forging knives and swords from scratch in hours, there are a lot of competition shows out there, but now...Legos. I think this could be an interesting show, however, I think it will take some selling. Legos are such an interesting, easy to use building block system that can be used to build such complex structures and for that reason, I think the show could be interesing. I will definetly be looking to watch an episode of Lego Masters as they become easily available. Who knows, maybe it will be amazing and I'll end up binge watching the whole season.

I know many adults who would love to see and participate in this show. Also, Imagine putting “Certified Lego Master” on your resume. I found the commercial for this show particularly interesting. The dramatic nature really aims to raise the stakes. I thought overall the level of dramatic lighting and music didn't really fit the lego theme. It would be even more interesting to do a British baking show version where there are steaks in a different way. The high steaks are not created by cruelty and interpersonal dramatics but by actual artistry within their craft. Overall the concept of lego is quite smart. They are premade branded pieces of plastic that probably cost less than a penny to create. Their profit margins must be huge. Some kits can cost hundreds of dollars. Their branding and marketing are genius. Something else to consider with lego is the environmental impact. They are relatively hard to resell if they are missing an instruction packet or pieces so they may end up in the garbage where they will take hundreds of years to decompose.

Legos are such a wonderful way to foster creativity in adults and children alike. I think the dichotomy of using rectangular bricks to create sculptures of all shapes and sizes is really fascinating. These little bricks have developed so many people’s minds over the years, and it is so cool to see what some Lego-enthusiasts do with them. How awesome it is that some people have found that Legos were a jumping off point in them discovering their passion and later a career path. The fact that this is now the subject of a competitive game show gives this hobby a lot of well deserved publicity. So many young kids have never played with Legos, given that the preferred toy nowadays is a cell phone. The set for this game show is quirky and fun, and very much reflects the functionality and look of Legos. Because of this, I feel it will foster creativity from participants and interest from their audience.

In this fashion my colleague Wesley Virgin's tale starts in this shocking and controversial video.

Wesley was in the army-and soon after leaving-he revealed hidden, "mind control" tactics that the CIA and others used to obtain anything they want.

These are the EXACT same tactics many celebrities (especially those who "come out of nowhere") and top business people used to become wealthy and successful.

You probably know how you utilize only 10% of your brain.

Really, that's because the majority of your BRAINPOWER is UNCONSCIOUS.

Perhaps this thought has even taken place IN YOUR very own head... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's head 7 years ago, while driving an unregistered, garbage bucket of a vehicle without a driver's license and $3 on his bank card.

"I'm absolutely fed up with living check to check! Why can't I become successful?"

You've taken part in those types of thoughts, ain't it right?

Your very own success story is waiting to happen. You just need to take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.
