This was a sweet article to read! So often the focus is on the celebrities, the up-and-coming artists, the success stories of millionaires, etc. It is great to shine the spotlight on those behind the scene. I will admit it was hard to follow a lot of the business terminology used here. The descriptions of these assistants melded together–what can be said differently between being “head of the branding department” and “a member of the assistant committee?” It is possible that the descriptions of these people were just too short, but I couldn’t get a real understanding of their character or accomplishments beyond the surface level. All of them worked for major companies and celebrities on major projects. Some of these assistants gave quotes that sounded just like a brand statement filled with buzzwords: “We are very excited to empower artists and creatives by changing the way they can tell stories” said Glenn Gainor. But some felt a bit more personal, which I appreciated. I related to Eni Akintade’s comment: “Accepting that there are only 24 hours in a day is always a challenge.”
