Roy Price Resigns From Amazon Studios
Variety: Roy Price is exiting Amazon Studios, where he served until recently as president.
The departure from Amazon follows Price’s suspension Oct. 12 from the tech giant’s entertainment division on the heels of renewed sexual harassment allegations. In Price’s absence, Amazon Studios COO Albert Cheng was named interim president, and sources say he is expected to remain in the role has head of the studio.

Finally. It's time that we start to see people having to face consequences as a result of their actions. It is sickening that it has taken the events with Harvey Weinstein for people to begin to realize that there is no place for sexual abuse in the work place, let alone the world. It maddens me that Price resigned. Some day that he has done so to save his career. While I don’t support the destruction of someone’s career or good name without just cause and proof, Price ruined his career and good name when he chose to behave in an unacceptable manner. No career is more important than the human beings who have been effected. And while I rejoice that another loser has had but a small taste of the penalties that come with inappropriate actions, it is with a tinge of sadness as it sinks in how many more people have been abused and have seen no justice against their offenders. “Me too” is not enough. We have to do more to help bring an end to the commonplace acceptance of sexual harassment and abuse that occurs daily.
