I appreciate that this article is trying to make the point that there needs to be larger change in Hollywood than just Harvey losing his job and all of his money, and I do think that he deserves to lose his job and all his money and to rot in jail for all the horrific stuff he has done to women. But what this article gets wrong is that this is not a Hollywood problem, it is a global problem in every industry. Yes, the giltz and the money of Hollywood make it easier to understand for some people, but that doesn't mean ti doesn't happen with accountants or in a grocery store or on a construction site. Sexual assault is literally everywhere, and it happens literally every day. I typed that before I really thought about it, but now I am thinking about it, and I have l been cat called every single day this week. I was in 7 different places, wearing 7 different outfits, and with 7 different groups of people, but it didn't matter I was still unsafe. It is literally exhausting to be a woman and to be outside. Hollywood needs to change, and I hope that one day it will, but it isn't just Hollywood. Every thing needs to change, and we have to stop using Hollywood as a way to avoid that the problem is rampant and it is everywhere.
