New York City College of Technology students build spooky haunted house

abc7ny.com: Welcome to the Gravesend Inn.

Once a thriving seaside resort in the late 19th century in Coney Island.

But it was built on top of a cemetery, and the only thing thriving in here today are ghosts.

This is a heartwarming example of students working together to preserve a piece of history and repurpose it as a piece of artwork. This is an incredibly innovative idea and concept from these students and this sounds like a fascinating attraction that members of the community will benefit from. Instead of allowing this place to fall into decay and disrepair students came up with a clever way to commercialize and capitalize on this building’s unique history. Hopefully students around the country will do similar things with other older buildings to ensure their preservation.
