It is all about desktop technology these days. Things have been starting to get smaller as we come up with improved computer-based devices. With the development has also come affordability and accessibility. If you had told someone five years ago they are able to use printer sized CNC on your desktop no one would have believed you, but the truth is that it is it here. It is also crazy to think that you can go to an office supply store like stapes and pick up a 3d printer. Listen, I’m not even that old and I remember when a basic inkjet printer was considered to be next level. The idea behind this device makes me wonder if people will adapt standard laser cutters to conform to these parameters. Not only will it take up less space but it also allows you to cut larger lengths and also might significantly cut done on the price of the unit.
