Las Vegas Review-Journal: The shuttered Jubilee Theater at Bally’s is coming back to life — and the hit CW television series, “Masters of Illusion,” which is America’s largest touring magic show will open there Dec. 6, I have learned exclusively.
The spectacular with five master magicians has been touring across the U.S., around the world and seen on the CW TV network.

I am very interested to know what it would be like to be a technician for one of these massive magic shows. It seems like it would be incredibly hectic. I don’t know what the actual technical needs for each show is, and I’m sure they would like to keep it that way. Hopefully one day I’ll have the chance to go backstage on something like a David Copperfield show. I would also think that videoing the show to go on CW while there was all of the technical elements going on with crews would be very difficult. Even when you only have one group of people running around, from what I have to assume are quickchange like elements, the backstage can get crowded very very quickly. When you add in people doing a separate job, it takes up even more of the precious space.
