While Facebook can certainly play a role in someone's employment, I do not agree with what the article is suggesting. The article explains different Facebook "apps" that can be used to market yourself on your Facebook page. However, in my eyes, Facebook is a tool used for social networking. It is used to connect with friends and family. Websites such as LinkedIn, on the contrary, are used for people to connect with companies they aspire to work with. Today, using a website such as LinkedIn is considered somewhat professional. However, I do not believe using Facebook is professional, and I do not think it ever will be. While it may be acceptable to search companies on Facebook, an aspiring employee's search should definitely not end there. Even though we may think so nowadays, it is very hard to really get to know a person or a company through a Facebook page. With that said, I do think it is important for people to be conscious of the content they are posting on Facebook, as that content may come back to haunt them in the future.

To begin, I am a huge fan of Facebook. It is a great social network that allows you to share information with a lot of people in a very casual manner. With this being said, I think it is grate to post your employment on facebook. This allows your friends to know you past expiernece, and then they can reffer you to other potential employers. However, one then needs to be careful not to put anything that they would regret on line then.
