Kickstarter's most-successful category - dance

I feel like in alot of these posts I read people are saying the arts are dying or that people don't have the same appreciation for them and that technology and the age of fast information is taking over. It is comforting to hear that statistically, the public still backs the arts in some way. Like the article said, audiences don't necessarily have a product or anything to take home after the funding but they are still giving, hoping to see one of their interests come to life, and that is impressive. I think this Kickstarter idea is a great one, because it gives alot of people the chance to bring their idea to life, even when they wouldn't have had the chance otherwise.
