These trophies are definitely worth winning, I'm amazed that Academy Awards trophies can't take a bow yet. But how fitting, to have such a technically sound trophy be the prize for a robotics competition. And what a good idea to reward for "coopertition." In the real world, it is rare to have pure cooperation or pure competition, often it is some sort of combination of the two. Students are supposed to be in training to be in the work force and to gain life skills, so why not promote this attitude of success through the happy means of combining ideas and the pressures of beating the other team? I applaud this sort of robotics competition, as events of the mind should be much more common than they are.
