A Moment of Silence for Dolby

InPark Magazine: Dolby Laboratories (DLB) today announced that Ray Dolby, an American inventor recognized around the world for developing groundbreaking audio technologies, died today at his home in San Francisco, at the age of 80. Dr. Dolby had been living with Alzheimer’s Disease in recent years, and was diagnosed in July of this year with acute leukemia.

An inspiring story because one man decided to reject passivity and lead courageously. He took his life by the reins and fought for it. It is incredible the awards and honors that this man achieved during his lifetime. What else to say, the article was encouraging to keep striving and moving forward. It is possible to impact the world around you in a positive way.

The story of Ray Dolby's life full of accomplishments and triumphs is incredibly inspiring, to say the least. It is obvious that this man never gave up, followed his dreams, and truly strove to discover and develop his passions. The sheer amount of awards he and his company were honored with is amazing and moving. This man the entertainment industry with his new and innovative processes and will continue to do so long after her is gone.

The contributions made to the entertainment industry by Dolby Laboratories have been unparalleled among their competitors. These advancements have been led by none other than Ray Dolby. A man whose story is incredibly inspiring to anybody trying to establish themselves in the entertainment industry. The accolades and awards that this man and his company received were extremely remarkable and well deserved. I am sure we can expect many more advancements to come out of Dolby Labs in honor of their founder.
