Taylor Swift concerts always pull large audiences, and frequently feature a stage in a thrust configuration, making lighting a challenge due to a lack of overhead fixtures in open air venues. To accommodate this staging, Swift’s concerts frequently employ the use of long throw fixtures, and this new instrument, dubbed the iFORTE LTX WB has an incredibly tight follow spot mode, able to produce a 0.8 degree beam. This could be useful to isolate Swift from her background dancers, as well as to highlight her costuming and makeup. This fixture is ideal for stadium shows, and generally all performances where intensity is required over large distances. It also has a long life, hopefully making it a good investment for any production company. The price will be released in a couple days at the PLASA expo in Olympia, London, also launching 2 other lighting products with it.
