Ridgid MegaMax Review - Three Heads Are Better Than One
Home Fixated: As my wife has thoughtfully pointed out once or twice, I’m a bit of a tool junkie. I’m always on the lookout for tools that can get the job done faster, more easily, and safer. If they also have a bit of a “cool” factor, well, that doesn’t hurt, either… Having the right tool for the job is always helpful, but as my wife has ALSO thoughtfully pointed out, acquiring all those tools can get a tad expensive. Having a tool system that can handle numerous tasks can be a great way to cut down on the expense – as well as the space needed to stow all those tools.

This tool really seems like something that should be in most professional shops and in the shops of avid homeowners. A few things really interested me about this tool. To start, I have always been intrigued and interested in owning a high torque right angle drill, one like that used by electricians to wire homes. While I am not rewiring whole rooms or homes often, I find myself having to drill large while through 2x material relatively often. This is something that, while it can be done with a standard drill, would be much more easy to do with a drill like this. I have never brought myself to purchase one as they aren’t cheap and I don’t need one enough. This tool, on the other hand, is multipurpose. This tool includes a reciprocating saw something I use often. Pairing these two together makes it very worth its money. This is something that I will probably be adding to my toolbox in the not so distant future.
