Rigging is something that really interests me in reaching more and seeing if I could potentially find a way into knowing more about the industry and get the opportunity to expand my skills. Reading this article was a good call because it reconfirmed some of my suspicions about the industry and how to become involved with it and most prominently it’s not something that can happen very quickly. Instead I should focus on being in the industry learning everything I can and being open to opportunities that may present themselves for expanding my knowledge of rigging. It was certainly interesting to hear how someone came to be an entertainment rigger and sort of fell into the industry. I also feel reassured because some of the skills that were presented as being important in being a rigger I feel as if I posses and can work on refining in myself before I start really pursuing the world of rigging.
