These over-the-top Muppets shoes are downright inspired
Boing Boing: My friend JoAnne Yada shared this quirky collection of Muppets shoes the other night on Facebook and I nearly jumped out of my seat. They're so wild and creative, just like a brand for (a certain type of) inner children should be!
This tremendous idea gives me flashbacks to the shoe project in Susan Tsu's Basic Design class. Why didn't I think of this idea? I've been a muppet fan since I was a small child and to know that there is now a shoe line with Muppet themed shoes, thats a dream come true. This seems like a ridiculous idea, but the more I looked at these pictures, the more I realized that there is a clear market for Muppet themed clothing because there clearly muppet themed people. I would love to see this with other major childrens series' such as sesame street or the telatubbies, both series' with an enormous fanbase that ranges from children to adults alike. If they have cosplay, they can have muppet and sesame street themed shoes! Its clearly a good business idea and these seems like something that could evolve into something huge, after reading this, I imagine a world of people wearing muppet shoes and its really blowing my mind.
