CBS Diversity Showcase Is a Racist Mess, Participants Say
www.vulture.com: For 13 years, CBS has operated its Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase out of a basement at the CBS Studio City lot, giving underrepresented writers and actors an opportunity to create and perform a theatrical sketch show in front of prominent industry players, including potential managers, agents, and casting directors.

The video “Be Blacker” was so sad because it was so true. I am so frustrated with the Entertanmant industry in general, who want noting more from black people and people of color, but to appropriate our stereotypes. I wish we could have right non racial dependent stories and see actual diversity. And the thing is we already see lots of storylines that do not require the race of the performer be any kind of ethnicity. I really struggle to see the reasoning behind the obsession with black culture... I am a black persons and I don’t even obsess or fit into the black stereotype, so why do white people? I think this video and the other one “Typecast” illustrate how ridiculous the struggle we have to go though on a daily basis. When will it change? When will people like CBS stop throwing out the term ‘diversity’ and hoping the can cover their asses when they do resist shit.
