I never new the IAAPA existed. There are so many conventions out there that I am not surprised but this sounds like such a cool conference/convention to go to. There is always so much more to amusement parks than people think and it’s a very long process when it comes to actually getting a new attraction to the people who will enjoy it. The article not only talks about the IAAPA but it somehow made me think about the joy that is amusement parks. So many people go to these places and even though there are always long lines, really expensive everything, and a huge cost to your wallet just to get in; it is always a blast and great fun to be at. This convention seems to be a reminder of that in a way as everyone brings their new ideas, attractions, foods, and more to show the world what is to come. Presenting what will be a reality soon is always really exciting. The designers get to reveal one of their latest ideas and the parks get to reveal one of their newest and more advanced attraction. I can’t wait to see the actual designs and attractions come to life as I know they will not only bring a smile to my face but a joy to a great many and as a theatre major pursuing such a career, that is always the goal and one of the greatest moments when the actual thing you created is being presented live or this case ridden by so many.
