Tait does some really cool things. The design for that concert was incredible. It was a little weird to but I think that captures the essence of Lady Gaga very well. The color changing film on the platforms really represents Lady Gaga well There are so many different sides to her but all of them are unique and interesting. It was interesting to learn that they actually did a break test for the acrylic that they were going to use as flooring instead of just trusting the manufactures numbers. With a huge concert like that it is better safe than sorry. I wish this article and video went into more about how the use of these pieces as touring scenery contributed to their design if it did at all. Did things have to be lighter to fit trucks weigh capacities? Did dimensions have to be heavily considered for transport? I’m very curious what touring means for the design elements and its implications on them.
