I had seen some social media posts these past few days regarding this new show on the Broadway World Instagram, but I didn't really know what it's about. From the reviews and the brief synopsis, this place seems super interesting, and it seems like a super important story that is being told. From the reviews, it seems like the issue at hand isn't necessarily solved throughout the duration of the play, but Slater tells an emotional story just using his facial expression and body language, because his character does not have a speaking role in this play. The show officially opened on February 22nd at Classic Stage Company, and I think this would be a really interesting play to see. When I'm back home, I really would like to see this play and see how their storytelling through acting as a mime enhances or doesn't enhance this historical plot line.
