I like that this article points out the importance of continued curiosity throughout your career. It's easy to figure out a way to do something and just stick with that because that is the way it has always been done, but especially as technology continues to evolve and change at faster and faster rates, it's more important than ever to continue to be curious and look for new solutions to problems. I also find it interesting how David Isherwood’s career really evolved from working as a simple electrician to being the big man incharge, especially how this article pointed out that he had to change out his work boots for spreadsheets. It makes sense that this is how his career would unfold, but it's interesting to think about how the higher up someone ends up in the pecking order, the less connected with the actual show they become. From what this article says though I don't think David ever got too far away from the show, continuing to mentor and teach as many people as he could.
