How HMIs and embedded systems are redefining the industrial PC
Control Design: I’ve been in this business for a little shy of 40 years, and I’ve encountered a lot of different hardware and applications during my trips around the sun. It’s been a great experience, and it took me to places literally around the world. When I got to thinking about an industrial PC (IPC), I admit that it took me a while to remember the last time I used one.

I recently took an electrical engineering class at my university and I found this article super interesting. It showed me some technology. that I was thinking about possibly implementing into my own projects. I have been working on my own audio over ip solution for a while, and I think that something like this could have huge benefits for the operator of my project. I think that theres a lot that could work with my project, and I always love to read about the technology that's being developed for machines and computers. Theres always something new, and I think that it's a shame that the audio industry has reached this strange stand still in terms of digital audio. But I think that was for the best. Theres always going to be improvements but I think in the same way that we are platuing in the analog world. We are now going to platue in the digital world as well.
