I remember walking into the tool room in the shop and I saw all of the guns lined up with their batteries in a little cubby. They were red so I thought they were Milwaukee brand tools and I got really excited because I have such brand loyalty to Milwaukee but I took a closer look and they were Hilti drills and Milwaukee impact drivers. I used one of the drills for some random project on the first day and I was less than happy with the performance and I thought wow these drills suck I hate this so much. But when I went back home for the holidays I was talking to one of my old mentor carpenters and he was telling me Hilti are the best brand of drills. And I was like then why are the ones I'm using so shitty? He said I probably had it in 1 and he was probably right. I switched gears to 2 and it definitely is the superior brand. I don't know how to describe it, but it just feels better yknow?
