The first time I saw a laser projector…I was here at CMU…I was so in awe that I just kinda stared at it for a little. I consistently have urges to buy a fairly inexpensive, high-quality projector with the intention of doing small scale instillations in my home. This article and the potential the unfinished basement in the home’s lease I just signed are not helping in the slightest. In all seriousness, I get so excited to see Newsweek articles about new technology. My high school used standard lamp projectors, and I was consistently bothered by the difficulty I had blending. It is so refreshing to see the industry moving to a place where high quality projectors can become to be priced lower. They are still expensive, don’t get me wrong, and its unreasonable for me to anticipate affording one for my home. It would take um a lot of workstudy hours. However, it is exciting to see more theatres have access to technology of this nature.
