When I wrote about a previous article about this production of “Almost Famous”, I stated how this was my favorite film of all time (as of right now) and while I was excited, I was skeptical to see how the production would play out. I was anticipating the critical response to the show ever since I heard about the show. Based on these reviews, it seems mixed. Critics all seem to agree that it’s pretty good, but there are little issues throughout the show. It’s exciting to hear that it is technically thought out and that the show has great potential for Broadway. My favorite aspect of the movie is its tone and to hear that the show captures it well has me over the moon. I still am going to wait to see the show for myself before I form my own opinion, but I’m glad to know it is not a disaster and does the story justice.
