Renderings For Aerosmith's Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas Residency
www.livedesignonline.com: Aerosmith's ongoing concert residency, Deuces Are Wild, features production design by Fireplay co-founder Josh Zangen and lighting design by Fireplay co-founder and CEO Nick Whitehouse and Steven Douglas. The result is a Vegas spectacle with huge rock 'n' roll lighting, massive video, and some enormous set pieces.

This looks awesome! This is the kind of creation I live for. While I am not into concert technical design as much as other technical designs, they do often start as really awesome designs. This is clearly evident here. This design in particular seems to be heavily focused on media design and projection but there is some structure and lighting within the structure that makes the stage unique and intriguing. Although, the stage itself is not the most interesting to deal with anyways, Its mainly just platforms with a cool ramp. As far as designing this technically, it doesn’t feel all that interesting, that would unless there is dynamic movement involved. Seeing platforms lift and lower would be quite interesting to design. One slide had a platform that extended far out over the audience, that would also be interesting to figure out but also appears not very doable from the slide. A structural problem appears would ensue.
