First large-scale drone light show in music video

www.avinteractive.com: Verge Aero, the specialist in high-performance drone light shows, has placed its drone technology at the heart of a ground-breaking new music video by Australian dance music trio PNAU, featuring American singer Ollie Gabriel. The project marked the first use of a large-scale drone light show in a music video.

This article is super dope. I love drones and how easily technology can be programmed to do such amazing things. I really love how they took the time and effort into making everything look organic and intentional and not like it was programmed even though it was to make it look natural. Working with a whole bunch of programmed machines is not easy, especially when there are other variables present such as wind, birds, and planes. I like that this article features an image or two from the show they are talking about, but if there was a video of the finished product available in the article or even linked, i think that would make everything so much better and clearer to the reader/audience. Without a video, it is hard to fully understand all the different changes and sequences that they talk about in the article. Overall, I think this article is really awesome for bringing attention to this drone light show that happened.

Wow! What a cool use of drones. Drones are everywhere nowadays and increasingly becoming popular with youtubers and video creators. It didn’t occur to me that they could be used for lighting, but it makes perfect sense. Take away the camera and you just have a small flying object. Add a light and now you have something that can be quite interesting. The picture in this article really does it justice as well. It is a stunning visual that is achieved with these drones and I’m sure it is quite beautiful in real time as well as in video streamed. I wish there were more photos or even a video because this is such a unique and stunning idea. Although, I am also sure that this article doesn’t do justice to the actual amount of time and difficulty that went into programming and creating this piece. It must have taken quite some time and then a few takes to get it all right.
