Firstly, I understand this is an instructional article, and I will comment on that aspect in a second. I only mean to say that templates for assorted projects, while they may be useful at times, should not be a crutch for one’s final product. Personally, I may look at other cards for insight on how other cards look or the information I may need to include, but I try my best to refrain from templates for sake of originality.
That said however, business cards seem to be falling out of touch in society. I don’t understand why, though; they’re fun to make, they’re fun to pass out and feel professional and adult-like, yet they seem to have begun to vanish in recent years due to the Digital Revolution that is our world now. We should most certainly have business cards make a comeback in society because they’re cool as heck and fun to do (future Susan Tsu project?). When the revolution comes and business cards make their return, this article works as a base for both making a business card and also for introductory Photoshop use.
