I’m so excited to hear that this resort is opening up, and my inner Jedi begins to come out when I begin thinking about this incredible arrangement. I find the idea of the hotel and experience to be the experience of a childhood (and current) dream.
Modern advancements in technology truly make living in a new world more possible than ever before with things such as Virtual or Augmented Reality. However, I still find the physical experiences and physical diving into a world to be the most fun times. Granted, as a child, this included playing with my original yellow-colored Lego Star Wars figurines and creating a world where the characters joined together to defeat the evil overlord of the universe, my dog. It’s a nerd-tastic discovery to hear that I can relive such a physical and personal immersion even as an adult.
Ultimately, while this experience seems to be advertised to families and especially for the younger Padiwan of the galaxies far (far away) and wide, such also seems to be an incredible simulation for adults, which, as always, is much appreciated for the growing Jedi.

Widely controversial in the Disney community, the StarWars Galactic StarCruiser, opened about a year ago and because of my dad’s career, I was able to go on a voyage this past March. This article, although published in 2019, shows some of the concept art for what would ultimately come to fruition many years later. The reason why the StarCruiser is so controversial is due to the price point. In no way is this price point affordable, as it's a few thousand dollars for just a few days. This does include all experiences, food, and “hotel” costs, and a few other extra things. The reason why I would argue that, although not affordable in any way, I would argue this price is appropriate for the experience that guests get on the StarCruiser. Guests get high quality unlimited dining, Broadway level entertainment, (with performers that spend time with the guests all day for 3 days straight,) luxury night stays, and exclusive experiences for 3 days straight. Yes, it definitely requires some saving, but it was a blast.
