This looks amazing. If I had to work for a large company, I would want to work for disney simply to see the inner workings of such a large corporate machine that’s singular goal is to create immersive and interactive art based on imaginary characters that I’ve grown up watching all my life. They plan these rides and worlds and attractions for years and years and years. This Marvel world looks incredible. The drawings of what it will look like are straight out of any recent Marvel film. I want to go to this so badly! It looks amazing and it sucks that they still haven’t built it yet because I want to be there right now. Also… the Galactic Starcruiser looks so freaking incredible. I cannot believe they are launching all of these projects at the same time that is so insane. In addition to all of these worlds/rides at theme parks they’re launching another cruise too? This is honestly insane and I wonder how they do it.

It’s always so amazing to me to see the scale of new work being done by Disney across the entire globe at all of their parks and beyond. They are so committed to ensuring that their guests have the best experience possible. With these new projects displayed at D23, it’s clear that Disney has thought of every detail. That is probably the most fascinating part about visiting one of their locations. When you’re in the parks, you notice how every single detail has a purpose. I was recently in Disney World in Orlando and was in awe the entire time I was there. The firework show was complete with not only the actual fireworks, but lighting and projection mapping on the entire castle. Disney has always caught my eye when the develop new projects. Everything that gets updated has cutting edge technology that can be used as an example for designers in every realm of the entertainment industry. The magnitude of Disney’s operation is completely mind-boggling to me, and it is always something I’ve wanted to be a part of.

This announcement is MASSIVE! Disney isn’t just adding an attraction, changing something, or placing another park somewhere. They are creating brand new things that are spanning the globe and to which aren’t small projects even on their own. This is a huge change that is both welcomed and a little scary. Disney is really going for making the fictional stories into realities as it seems. While I do hope they can achieve this, I have doubts that it will feel entirely real and thus will require imagination on our part or hassle from technology. This primarily stems from the fact that while this is going to be great no matter what, if superheroes were real and water was magical as they claim they will be achieving, then we wouldn’t need Disney to do this. It wouldn’t fulfill our dreams, etc. but only be a highly expensive addition to our reality. Which is disappointing. So I really hope they can achieve what they are setting out to do especially because I would want to be working on these projects for them trying to figure out how to make it and create it in such a way that the goal is achieved. This is especially true after seeing the inspiring designer art that is posted in this article. However, I mentioned it is also scary and that is because Disney is seemingly taking over the world. These projects all require space, and one even appears to be an entire island. Nonetheless, I am very excited to see these projects come to life!

Wow, I know when Disney does something they do it big but this is really impressive as a press release for their plans of the future. The amount of detail and planning that these large companies put into their designs for the future are truly spectacular. I found myself reading this article and being amazed or excited by almost every one of their new ideas. The Star Wars hotel with the guided guest experience over the course of two days transforming a vacation at a theme park into more of an experience of the likes of a cruise ship seems really intriguing. I mean themed hotels have been at Disney forever but creating a two day stay and a set experience is such a different idea I can’t wait to see how it turns out. That being said though some of their more “traditional” announcements of expansion and exploration into events for their other parks is really cool as well. Just simply being able to create words like a Marvel universe is so amazing and already has me excited to go out to LA and see it for myself.

I went to the D23 Expo in 2019 and it was so awesome seeing the different projects that Disney was planning to announce. Although a lot of it ended up being delayed or has yet to be completed due to COVID-19, the things that have come to fruition are incredible. Looking back many years later, it is interesting to see what ended up happening and what things never even began. Avenger’s Campus in California did happen and I have been able to visit multiple times since it opened, and it looks EXACTLY like the concept art. Although one of the rides isn't done yet, what is there is a blast. Star Wars Galactic Star Cruiser also happened and have been able to take a voyage which was absolutely wild, and also looks just like the sketches. DCL’s new ship the Wish also started sailing just last summer, which was pushed back but ended up getting pushed back a second time just before my sailing. EPCOT’s updates have begun but are not yet finished, but what has been done, including Cosmic Rewind, is awesome.

When I saw that D 23 was going to release all of these new avengers themed areas I got really excited now that it has happened and all of this is in real life. I am glad to see that they have not disappointed in their execution. They have definitely achieved an immersive Experience that makes you feel like you have joined the Marvel cinematic universe. I have only seen avengers campus in Paris, but it was truly phenomenal and from what I’ve seen online about avengers campus in California. It’s just as good if not better they have really leaned into the feeling of meeting the characters and creating that immersive experience that so many people desire when they go on vacation I think it’s crazy the projects Dave been able to tackle with in the past couple years I know that this Star Wars voyage Has failed a little bit and I’m curious to see what they continue to do with that because it was a interesting concept but a little bit beyond what the average consumer can afford.
