Actress takes on Williams' classic character in 'Glass Menagerie'

TribLIVE: For actress Lynne Wintersteller, 2014 has included a trifecta of strong mother roles.

She started off the year as the no-nonsense Mother Superior in the national tour of “Sister Act.”

In July, she assumed the character of early 20th-century labor organizer Mother Jones, who led young millworkers on a march to abolish child labor in the musical “Mother Jones and the Children's Crusade” at the New York Musical Theatre Festival.
