Pro Sound Web: One of my favorite scenes in Ghostbusters is when Egon gives the guys a warning about crossing the streams. As we know, it’s not good. Not good at all.

It seems that the audio world is constantly changing and making advancements to make our jobs easier. Throughout my years as a sound guy I have tried to keep myself well versed in most of the new advances however the one thing that I have found myself not quite understanding is audio networking. Whether it be AES or Dante it is the one thing that I just can't seem to understand. I think this article did a very good job at helping me better understand the topic but more importantly the link that the author provided to the Yamaha guide to Dante systems. That aside I would say that this article did provide me with a good amount of information that I did not know before. I just wish that it explained a little more about what Dante is and what it is used for like the Yamaha link does.
