Symphony gets $50,000 NEA grant

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: The National Endowment for the Arts has awarded the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra a $50,000 grant to support its Composer of the Year program for the 2013-14 season.
The PSO is one of 895 nonprofit organizations that received Art Works grants, which totaled $23.4 million. The award also supports the orchestra's reading session for young composers.
