3D-Printed Nails Are Way Crazier Than Your Typical Press-Ons
gizmodo.com: Man, I really love nail art. You might not share the same kind of enthusiasm for crazy custom manicures, but we can all agree that the Laser Girls' 3D-printed nails are decidedly cooler than your average press-on acrylics.

This is super cool, personally I do not know all that 3D printers are capable of but creating nail art was definitely not something I thought they could do. It is incredibly cool, it is like little pieces of art that you can wear on your nails. I have always admired the different designs that nail artists could paint or spray paint on. This is a new fashion statement that I think could be very popular.
I'm constantly amazed at the new extents that people are pushing 3D printers. At first, printers were just being used as wearable fashion, but now they are actually being implemented into our bodies. It's actually starting to get a little bit eerie to the point that it almost seems like we're fusing ourselves with technology. I'm interested to see the directions that this takes us.
I'm not much of one for nail art (on myself, at least) though I do like to see it on other people. I've never had the patience to paint (or especially do art) on my nails, not to mention that fake ones get in the way of a large majority of my everyday activities. For those who do like such extravagant things to grace their fingernails, I think this is a neat idea. It seems a lot more easy to create three-dimensional patterns in such a small space, and appears to have a wide variety of possibilities. They seem a bit cumbersome, but they certainly show off what some 3-D printers are capable of in the world of art and fashion.
Nail art kinda creeps me out, but this is great. I love all these articles on the blog about people creating amazing objects with 3D printers. These nails and the fish bone-like necklaces that showed up in another article are awesome examples of the results one gets from combining art and technological advances.
The nails themselves are super interesting pieces, and some of the designs are really cool. I loom forward to seeing more and more amazing creations as 3D printing technology develops and becomes more advanced and accessible.
