I think this article does a great job at getting a point across that many people typically oversee. I think that too many people go into new jobs (especially as low level technicians) with the mentality that they already know everything there is to know about sound. This mentality is something that I think is a huge flaw and if more people read articles like this they might understand and be better sound people. The first professional sound job I was on was in 9th grade of high school and I pretty much haven't stopped working since but I think every time that I go into a gig that there is so much that I can learn. It is something that in the future I will never lose.
