The Only 5 Interview Questions You Need to Prepare for

theundercoverrecruiter.com: There is an awful lot of chitchat, jibber jabber and small talk going on in interviews. When you take a closer look at the exchanges, you can see that there are only a few questions the interviewer is really bothered about. The rest are simply there to create rapport and filling the gaps.
The reason you will always struggle to prepare answers to every single question you are asked in an interview is that the interviewer themselves didn’t prepare them. They don’t really care too much about all the answers you give either. What we do know is that an interviewer has one major objective to fulfill and that is to get the answers to the five basic questions. Based on the answers, he or she will then compare the answers to that of any other interviewer’s and they will then rule you in or out.

Often in interviews, employers are asking certain questions without explicitly saying them out loud. I think this article does a great job at outlining exactly what those questions are. I think all of these underlying questions are important to keep in mind while both conducting and participating in an interview. While it is definitely important to keep these questions in mind as a potential employee answering questions in an interview, it is also important that you are not overbearing. In an interview, the answers to these questions should be make clear by the end of your interview, but not explicitly stated. I think answering these questions needs to be considered carefully so as not to seem too overbearing or self-indulgent. Overall, though, this article is a great read for anyone that is preparing for interviews.

I really appreciated the article and will definitely use it for future interviews. The one very important thing, however, that was left out is the simple fact that they have to like you. The person interviewing you cannot see an egotistical prick who is so focused on his own accomplishments. This make them wonder why you even want the job. If possible make a joke with this said person. laughter is the number one thing to get personable with someone. Second, they see hundreds of people with the same skill set. What makes you different? It takes one thing to make you stand out of a crowd and if it was because you made them laugh then so be it.
