Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: In its 30th year, the Post-Gazette Performer of the Year Award goes to a Norwegian seductress, a vengeful Irish wife, a butch lesbian, a youthful musical protester, an Ohioan whose fiance died in World War II, several hallucinated Nazis, and a couple of fictional writers, each creating the play she is in.
And thanks to the wonder of theater, all these were played with invention and skill during 2013 by one person, Daina Michelle Griffith.
