7 killer PDF add-ons you wish you had and 13 to pass up

www.lifehack.org: The Portable Document Format is a wonderful thing. We all use it – university papers, applications, work documents. It is the industry standard for fixed-format document viewing with cross-platform possibilities. I have found 7 killer PDF add-ons you wish you had, and also 13 add-ons not worth wasting your time with.

In my opinion, PDF format is the only acceptable way for sending and receiving documents that are meant for review as opposed to editing. That being said, it can also be a pain to get the original document into said format. While these add ons aren't entirely solving the problem of constantly having to save 2+ copies, they are making more difficult or obscure formats more accessible. I have yet to use the add on allowing for web pages to be saved as PDFs directly, but after reading this article it is one that I would be interested in trying out. I have used various e-sign and docu-sign programs and apps. They work, but often leave something to be desired as not many people own e-writing pads, creating a signature that looks like it wasn't done by a 5 year old on the iPad is difficult, and scanning one in is a hassle. The usability of PDFs has increased, and am interested to see further developments in apps created for them.
