Production Resource Group (PRG) Scenic Technical Design and Engineering Internship
SmartRecruiters Free Applicant Tracking and recruiting software: This work will assist PRG and also provide the interns with a comprehensive overview including: Understanding and reading drawings; Understanding of AutoCAD functions including opening drawings, finding dimensions and plotting; Electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their usage; Standard mechanical components, their usage and selection criteria; Mechanical Parts Suppliers; Component catalogs and decoding part numbers; Mechanical concepts of horsepower, force, line pull, torque, power, speed, and their relationships; Control aspects of Mechanical Design; Effects Lists and their function; Understanding of best case practices; Understanding of client relationships; Interdisciplinary convergence with Lighting / Audio / Video
