Carnegie Mellon University: A feature film debut at the Sundance Film Festival is something Roxanne Benjamin has always strived for.
This year she reached that goal.
Benjamin, a 2009 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University's Master of Entertainment Industry Management (MEIM) program will debut her movie V/H/S in Park City, Utah as part of the premier showcase for independent film.

This is so cool! I don't even know what the MEIM program is...should I be ashamed of that?
When I read about everything she had to deal with with the production schedule, it seems like skills that are learned in the TD, and Production in the school of drama as well. (Not to mention working on actual shows, of course).
I hope she continues to do excellent work and make CMU proud.
its great to hear about graduates like Roxane putting her degree to good use and gaining her way to a place like the sundance film festival. Gives those of us tired and flustered freshman more hope for just what completing our various programs can do for us. Even though Roxane is a Heinz college and not necessarily school of drama but Masters of Entertainment Industry Management is no childs play. Congrats to Roxane and heres to hoping to more success at sundance.
