'Madagascar Live' turns onscreen action into real-life experience
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "'Madagascar Live' -- the musical stage version of the popular 2005 film and its 'Escape 2 Africa' sequel -- features the story's favorite characters as they embark on an exotic adventure. Kids and adults can see Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo, King Julien, the crafty Penguins and more. The characters will play out the original story in a 90-minute version onstage, backed by lively music, Hoppe says.
