I think it has only been in the past few weeks that I have realized the impact that corona virus has had on the world as a whole, impacting social, political and economical aspects.
Starting as something based in a one country, the disease has now spread to other parts of the world, as more and more cases are being reported elsewhere in the country.
In the light of this, it is no surprise that events that involve the gathering of a large group of people in person are trying to figure out alternatives for the same, in order to avoid active interaction between people so to help prevent the spread of corona virus.
However, given that a platform as big as the Emmy's has proposed these alternatives, it would be very interesting to see if for one, these are implemented and secondly, if yes, then what methods are chosen as the alternatives and finally, what the reaction of the audience and participating members would be.
