This is awesome, and it gives me hope in today’s world, where it seems like minorities at risk are being completely dropped by bigger organizations that are afraid of retaliation by the Trump administration. These grants are a huge deal, and to know that they’ve increased significantly in just the past year gives me just a little more faith in philanthropy. I’m glad there was an additional $1.5 million in emergency funding allocated to offset the SNAP program’s disruption.
