I clicked on this because the name Keiko Green sounded familiar. I did some research out of this article and realized she was one of the keynote speakers at the opening ceremony for USITT this year. I got to interact with her because I was on the run crew for the opening ceremony and she was a joy. Something I think comes through well in this article is her joy. When I talked to her she was such a ball of sunshine and seemed to love talking to people and learning things. I also love this idea of people to watch. I think it is kinda funny that we do that but it is also kinda awesome. I also wonder if it is a lot of pressure for the person? It would make me proud but also nervous to be highlighted in this way. But after talking with Keiko I can only imagine she feels grateful. I think part of the reason she is being highlighted is how she interacts with people and her character. It is what everyone tells you, who you are and how you treat people matters and I think this is a great example.
