'The Pitt' Background Actors on Faking Pregnancies and Pretending to Be Nurses

Great show. I've watched half of the season so far. I think it's really cool that CMU has connections to the show. I love how they are constantly referencing local Pittsburgh places. That's something that is very specific and I'm sure I notice it more because these names mean something to me now, but I've never seen a show that does that so much, that wasn't set in NYC. The way this show works is really unique. I've never seen a show that runs hour by hour, and I have to say I really enjoy it. I've watched quite a few medical shows, but when you have multiple days shoved into 45 minutes, it feels like you are missing a lot of what is going on. This show feels very true and realistic. I was watching it and thinking about how that layout affects the filming of the show. Especially the weather. Not much of it is filmed outside but quite a few parts are, and I'm sure that to try to get the same weather consistently in Pittsburgh to film was not the easiest thing.
