DiGiCo Releases V20 Software for Quantum and SD-Range Consoles

LightSoundJournal.com: DiGiCo’s mixing consoles have long been praised for many reasons, including their pristine sound, intuitive operation, and paramount reliability. Perhaps less obvious, but equally important, is the fact the company designs its products with upgradability and longevity in mind, a point firmly underscored by the new release of Software Version 20 for all Quantum and SD-Range consoles.

I have not gotten into gear and all the tech that is behind theatre as much as I have wanted to. Even just a year ago I was not as into sound as I am right now and was not learning about sound equipment at all. Since then I have learned a lot more about sound and all that tools that we have to make it easier, better, or more efficient. A huge part of this is the sound console we have and how it mixes and what functions it has that can aid us in our process. DiGiCo is staple in the sound console world, and learning more about the products they make will help me become more versed in how the sound world operates and some of the tools we have at our disposal. While I can’t get a full understanding of what this article is taking about because I don’t have more proper training, I do love reading about it all and picking out the pieces that I do know and trying to understand or research the parts that I don’t. I can’t wait to start getting my hands on physical equipment and try to implement some of the things that are being taught to me in these articles.
