OSF just continues to impress me with how they are approaching creating theatre in today's world. The importance of providing theatrical employees a way to gain access to health care, savings for retirement, paid time off ect. Has always been a challenge but OSF has found a way to provide these things to all of their employees in just 8 years. Impressive, but also truly speaks to the culture they cultivate. They want to build and tell beautiful stories and simultaneously support their employees so they feel stable in their lives. I personally remember in 2017-2018 I was just a little highschool student. I was sitting there listening to a talk on diversity in theatre and what it looked like. They expressed a clear goal to provide theatre to all audiences, blind, deaf, if you could enjoy theatre they wanted to accommodate that to the highest degree. OSF is doing some really amazing things providing the PNW with world class theatre. Truly inspiring.
